From the past glory there is an old man, Methel from the immortal race of the Cona, to guide Emane. When Emane and Methel pair up to combat a false Messiah, chaos ensues in a world where the immortals have long been hidden from the mortals. Hypocrisy and deception avail, as lines begin to be drawn in and amongst the mortal races. Love being torn apart, and then reclaimed, and a creation of a new and deadly creature are only some of the adversities that Emane has to deal with. While these wheels are turning, he is being tutored in the ways of body and mind by an immortal race, which finds itself in turmoil and subsequently a civil war.
